Meet the Team

After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Wayne State College in 2007, Shawn accepted an accounting position with Kramer and Associates, LLC in Sioux City, IA.

In 2009, he made the move to Kansas City after accepting a job offer from Herfordt Shelton Mertens & Couch (now Walters McCann Fanska, LLC) as a tax accountant and eventually graduated to a tax manager position, where he worked until 2014.

As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Shawn has now branched out and started his own CPA firm in the Northland of Kansas City. He is a member of the AICPA.

In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, tending to his lawn and spending time with his growing family.

Jerry graduated magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Business Administration. He earned a BBA with his major in accounting.  Over the past 30 years, he has been providing tax and accounting services in the Kansas City metropolitan area while working for two local CPA firms.

Bernardo graduated summa cum laude from Park University. There he received a BS in accounting. After graduating he accepted a position at Foley Equipment as a credit analyst. Eager to learn and grow, Bernardo is striving to obtain his CPA.

When he’s not in the office, you can find Bernardo on the pitch coaching youth soccer or spot him playing the game himself
